This month as nation, we give thanks to our fallen soldiers for the sacrifices they made for our country. Remembrance Day rejuvenated interest in recalling the war and military sacrifice and it remained a day to honour the fallen and calls to remember the horror of war and to embrace peace. Sydney was born 11 weeks early, weighing only one pound, 15 ounces. She was immediately transferred to SickKids where doctors discovered she had two heart conditions, a heart block and ventricular septal defects — essentially holes in her heart. She underwent several procedures along with open heart surgery. While she’s still fighting, SickKids gave Sydney the chance to live—and our community of donors helped make that possible. The Toronto Platinum Realty Team is proud to raise money for SickKids. When you refer someone to us, you’re also helping kids like Sydney.
My team rallies around our annual goal of raising money and donating portions of our income to help the Sick Kids Foundation in their quest to heal young people when they need healing.
